“When you see something that is technically sweet, you go
ahead and do it and argue about what to do about it only
after you've had your technical success.
That is the way it was with the atomic bomb.

Fully immersed within the field of technology and computer science, I am continually reminded of this quote. The dilemma facing scientists, engineers, and UX designers is still just as true today as it was then. When faced with the dilemma between choosing the interest of the nation, self interest or relying completely on a moral conscience...which way do you turn? I hope we can all look to the creation of the atom bomb as a memento of the power of technology and the moral and social responsibility that comes with it. My current ambition is to understand new technology and work with top industry experts, encouraging us all to choose moral and social responsibility over technical innovation if that choice needs to be made.
